Gem State Herding is a group of people in the Treasure Valley with a common interest ... working stockdogs. While we all do this, ultimately, to spend more time with our dogs, our first and foremost priority is proper stockhandling to ensure the welfare of the livestock. We are an active, friendly group with a diverse background in stockdogging, from novice/novice to trainers and judges. The only requirement for membership is an interest in herding. We hold fun days, clinics, trials, and various other get-togethers, both formal and by-the-seat-of-our-pants! Won't you join us?
